In a Teal organization, meetings are designed to be purposeful, efficient, and inclusive. We minimize unnecessary meetings and ensure those we do have serve clear functions that support self-management and collective sense-making.

Types of Meetings at Mira

General Assembly (GA) Meeting

Frequency: Monthly

Duration: 90-120 minutes

Who Attends: All members (required)

Purpose: Strategic decisions, Love Work voting, major organizational changes

Structure:

1. Check-in round (10 min) - Each person shares how they're arriving
2. Celebrations (10 min) - Acknowledge wins and milestones
3. Information sharing (15 min) - Key updates from Board and projects
4. Decision items (45-60 min) - Vote on proposals, discuss strategic matters
5. Reflection round (10 min) - Each person shares one takeaway
6. Closing (5 min) - Confirm next steps and next meeting

Board of Directors Meeting

Frequency: Weekly or bi-weekly

Duration: 60 minutes

Who Attends: Elected Board members
